Yiddish Song Circle
A new opportunity to indulge in your love of Yiddish. In an informal, "sing-along" workshop style, participants will share, learn or simply enjoy listening to well-loved vintage as well as new classic Yiddish songs. While booklet of core songs will be provided, those interested to share are encouraged to bring 20 copies of their song, or email it to Ashkenaz by August 25 so lyric sheets can be printed. Knowledge of Yiddish is not required! Led and accompanied by Lenka Lichtenberg, with the assistance of Kinneret Sagee on clarinet.
